Dr. Lucy Villa has proudly dedicated her entire career to serving patients in the tri-state area, with over 24 years of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of both simple and complex periodontal conditions. Her practice also specializes in the precise and long-term placement of dental implants, combining clinical expertise with a commitment to compassionate care.
Raised in northern New Jersey, Dr. Villa earned her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from UMDNJ-Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. She completed a general practice residency at the East Orange, NJ Veterans Administration Hospital, and was then accepted into the prestigious University of Pennsylvania, where she completed a rigorous three-year post-doctoral residency in Periodontics and Implantology.
Throughout her career, Dr. Villa has maintained a patient-centered and collaborative approach, recognizing that anxiety and fear often accompany dental care. She strives to foster strong doctor-patient relationships and has created a unique, personalized experience for her patients in Brooklyn. Her office is a welcoming, state-of-the-art environment where advanced periodontal and implant procedures are delivered with care, skill, and a gentle touch.
Dr. Villa is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, and her multilingual team—including staff fluent in Ukrainian—reflects her commitment to serving Brooklyn’s diverse community. Her practice offers flexible scheduling, including early morning, evening, and weekend appointments, and is fully equipped to provide intravenous sedation administered by a board-certified anesthesiologist for patients with dental anxiety.
Board certified in Periodontics and Implantology, Dr. Villa is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. She is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the Academy of Osseointegration, the American Dental Association, and the Second District Dental Society. Dr. Villa remains dedicated to continuing education and the latest advancements in surgical care, ensuring her patients receive the most effective, evidence-based treatment available.
Due to an overwhelming number of requests for aesthetic care from her patients, Dr. Villa pursued advanced training in medical aesthetics. Her goal was to enhance her ability to support both surgical outcomes and pain management through aesthetic services. She is certified by the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, further solidifying her expertise in this specialized field.
